Talking of clever people, Alice Shopland of Angel Food NZ is a very clever lady indeed. When she missed Parmazano and realised that there was nothing to replace it, she worked hard to create a replacement and here it is. The wonderfully tasty Bellissimo has the taste and aroma of parmesan without the dairy or animal rennet. At our home we love to sprinkle it over my favourite homemade 'bolognaise' recipe and practically any pasta dish we conjure up. The wonderful Alice didn't stop there, she also created a very tasty and easy to make 'cheesey' sauce mix, which my 9 year old son used to make macaroni 'cheese' for us all. What happy campers we were! We use this on a weekly basis in our house as it produces a quick and convenient pasta sauce, when all you want after a hard days work is a comforting bowl of warm yumminess! Well done Alice, we salute you!
