Making a Purchase
Once you have placed an order and receive a confirmation of it, it is not indicative of an existing contract, between you as the customer and us as the seller.
All orders of our products placed directly through us, either over the phone, through our website, or by email, are founded on these Terms and Conditions.
We have established these for our protection. For example, if ever the case were to arise that a mistake has been made in the pricing of our products, in the unintentional under-pricing of our products, or in that we unfortunately don’t have the ability to supply a specific product.
'Best Before' Dates
The Best Before dates included on our packaging are discretionary dates that relate to the quality of the goods, meaning the taste and appearance are able to change. It is only included as a suggestion of when the product is in a prime condition to be consumed. It is not indicative of any date past it signifying its inedibility or danger, but that at some point past it the quality may gradually depreciate so the taste and colour may be less appealing. However, we have found that usually it isn’t until after several weeks, in some cases months, that this occurs. All of our goods are guaranteed to have a sufficiently long best before date so that your consumption of it will be satisfying, based on your parcel delivery date.
Delivery Schedule
All our standard orders will be prepared within 48 hours, in regard to the estimated delivery time window.
If you wish to qualify for next day delivery, you must order by 12 noon. If it is placed on a Friday, however, it won’t be delivered until Monday. There is no postal service on a Bank Holiday so any orders around this time will be postponed until the next day. All next day deliveries require a signature upon delivery.
In the case that you’re aware you are likely to miss the delivery at the given time, we advise you leave a comment in the “Notes to seller” section, identifying alternative delivery instructions.
If any orders arrive to you late or are returned due to inaccurate delivery details or due to the absence of someone able to receive the delivery at the address at the time, we will not offer a refund for the goods if they are then unfit to consume. We will not refund your postage if you return your order to us.
The delivery company used for your order reserve the right to pass on your parcel to a local post office for collection if it happens that you are not present for the delivery.
Although estimated delivery times are generally reliable, they’re unable to be guaranteed. If there are any problems occurring within the postal system, such as adverse weather, or any other inability to deliver that it the responsibilty of the delivering agents or recipient, we cannot accept responsibility for late delivery as the cause is beyond our control. As a result, late delivery cannot be a reason alone for a refund.
Importing Goods into Countries Outside the UK
Anyone placing international orders accepts the sole responsibility for charges and taxes, etc., for the imported goods. Where no delivery charge is specified on the order, one may be applied by us once the cost is established.
Returns Policy
We are not accountable for any deliveries to incorrect addresses, that don’t have the correct address, or that become lost.
